There was a historic baseball game this weekend, you know what I am talking about? Big story, folks. Over the weekend the Baltimore Oriores played the Cuban national team in Cuba. It was a great game, there was just a one weird moment when a Cuban player got thrown out trying to go from first to Miami.
週末に歴史的な野球の試合が行われた。ボルティモア・オレオズはキューバに飛び、キューバ国際チームと対戦したんだ。すばらしい試合だった。でも、キューバの選手が1塁からマイアミに向かいアウトになったのは変だったな。

※キューバ国際チームのゴールは、ホームベースではなくアメリカ亡命なのか？！

Bob Dole, of course, is in the news. His wife says she's gonna run for president. Bob Dole said that he's going to remain in the background during his wife's campaign. That was his quote. Of course, because of Viagra, part of him will remain in the foreground.
ボブ・ドールが話題になっている。彼のカミさんは大統領選に出馬すると発表したが、ボブ・ドールは選挙中は目立たぬようバックグラウンドに徹すると語った。もちろん、バイアグラの効き目で彼の一部だけはアクティブ状態が続くが。

Doctor Kevorkian was found guilty of second degree murder. Reportedly Kevorkian is so depressed about it he said "I 've lost the will to help people who have lost the will to live"
カボーキアン医師は第二級殺人で有罪と宣告された。報道によると、医師はかなり落ち込んでいるらしく、こんなことを漏らしているらしい「生きる意志を失った人々をほう助する意志を失ったよ・・・」

※自殺ほう助で有罪を宣告されたカボーキアン医師。医師もほう助する意志を失って生きる意志を失ってしまうのか？！
